Are your light guns official Gun4ir products?
No our products are not official Gun4ir and are not endorsed by Gun4ir. We have tried to make that happen but they don’t seem too interested in working with us, so we are simply doing this by ourselves to benefit those who want them but do not want to DIY it. Our light guns do not use ANY official Gun4ir paid license software or components such as printed PCBs, sensors or cables sold on the official Gun4ir website or the RPEG electronics website. Our products are hand assembled in a factory environment using professionally machined parts and high quality components to the highest possible standard. Our products are not made in a garage or at home. This is why we can not only make a higher quantity available in a shorter space of time, but we can ensure the quality is the absolute best. We have been told by quite a few customers that our products are of equal standard when compared to official ones (not to mention around 38% cheaper).
How are your products cheaper than official Gun4ir ones?
We love this question. It seems too good to be true doesn’t it? To put it simply we have more hands on deck, a faster parts supply network, stock (parts) surpluses and assembly line routines that have been optimised to meet high performance output levels. We are also not paying $200 USD for DIY Gun4ir kits, opting to instead design and build our own units from scratch to be compatible with Gun4ir software. This not only reduces build costs but downtime waiting on supplies to build them. It is a streamlined supply process that even Gun4ir official sellers cannot compete with using their current model. Gun4ir official sellers rely on getting factories like our partner’s to build some customised components for them to resell or to build their products that are then limited to a small amount of builds that command high labour charges that push up their prices. For example RPEG electronics charge $900 USD (with no PSU or Sensors) for just one of the Time Crisis 3 handguns similar to what we sell for around $600 (with PSU and LED sensors included).
Why does shipping take so long?
Most of the items sold in our website are made to order and with specific customisations according to the buyer’s request. Such items require a period of assembly and testing before being shipped to the UK from China for further testing after which it is shipped to the customer. This process can take up to 30 days and is more likely to do so when order volumes are high. But rest assured if we do not ship within 30 days of your order payment we will offer you a voucher for 10% off your next purchase with no spending cap.
If I pay more can I get it faster?
No sorry, it takes as long as it takes and has nothing to do with how much we are charging for our products or shipping (other than from UK to overseas which is the only thing we can control). Things happen and sometimes planes are so full that packages are delayed for loading and export, so it is impossible to predict what will happen in any given order scenario. As these items are gun shaped it complicates things slightly as there is only one way to ship them out of China and this service can get backlogged on occasion with high nationwide output. This is why we offer all our affected customers a generous 10% discount on any future order as fair compensation just in case.
What payment methods do you offer?
We offer PayPal for credit and debit card payments and Bank Wire Transfer where we can accept any currency as well as Western Union and Moneygram payments direct to our UK business bank account. Some of our products require Bank Wire Transfer to be used for purchase and PayPal will not be available for those, (see individual product descriptions for more details). PayPal is only available at the final checkout page of applicable products. We have had to do this to prevent it being on used on restricted products that require bank transfer only.
Why are some of your products Bank Wire Transfer only?
These products are special products like Gift Vouchers or Special offers. Some of these products are non refundable products and PayPal is not an option either because discounts have been applied. In short, it is mainly because we want to offset PayPal fees and risks to be able to offer these products. If we ever find PayPal payments become predisposed to fraudulent abuse for us in future we may opt to remove them entirely and ONLY have bank transfers as an option to protect our business, but we hope it will never come to that so for now we are just leveraging our risks.
Do you offer returns or refunds on your products or can I cancel my order if I change my mind?
Only where specified for non-custom made items which we may or may not be selling now or in future.
You may also only cancel your order if you opted to pay by Bank Transfer AND you have not yet made the payment. Once payment has been received we cannot guarantee your order will be cancelled as the factory order may have already been made (as we do not delay in processing orders). We may be able to cancel after payment has been received but ONLY if the order has not yet been made with the factory, however this cannot EVER be guaranteed. This is mainly because even though your order status may not have been updated to say 'Processing in progress', the build order may have already been submitted to the factory and cannot be cancelled, your order status will show as 'Processing in progress' only AFTER this has happened so there will usually be a delay in updating the order status. So please only order if you are prepared to wait for the products as specified in their decriptions or our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Our light guns, artwork (printed or digital) and our backlit marquees are all either digital or custom made to order and non-refundable and non-returnable for any reason other than component failure within the specified warranty periods (where the warranty terms then apply). If you change your mind and want to return it for any other reason it will not be accepted, unless you do so before your custom build request has been submitted to our manufacturer (this is only likely to be possible if the order is cancelled as soon as you make it, but even so can never be guaranteed). Our advice is do not order if you cannot wait the full (maximum) lead time of 30 days plus delivery time.
As stated in our terms and conditions of sale that you must accept when purchasing from us, the (UK) Consumer Contracts Regulations (Distance Selling) and 14 days right to return or cancellation for a refund within 14 days of receipt does not legally apply to these items, and under PayPal’s own ‘Buyer Protection Policy’ PayPal does not apply this policy to Custom-made goods that are significantly not as described (not as good as I thought, I don’t like them, etc…), or Stored value items such as gift cards and pre-paid cards.
Please be aware that if any buyer tries to force a PayPal payment reversal to circumvent our binding contract by fraudulent means, or making false claims under PayPal’s ‘Buyer Protection Policy’ to circumvent their policy, then we will absolutely take legal action to recover any financial losses and permanently ban any customers who do so without question. If you have a legitimate issue with one of our products we are here to help you so just contact us and we will do everything we can to put it right for you, all we ask is fairness in return and that you understand how our business works prior to buying from us. I bought a gift voucher where is it and how do I use it?
If you bought one of our Gift Vouchers you will find it on your customer account page (once payment has been processed) under the 'Gifts That I Bought' section. It will also be emailed to your registered email address and you can download a PDF copy of it as well. All our gift vouchers are valid for use for 12 months for partial or full payment of an item, so if there is any change leftover from the purchase a new voucher will automatically be emailed to you with the remaining balance on it.
Do you sell arcade games I can use your light guns on?
We do not sell or share games and roms, but you can visit kriscoolmod’s website and purchase the 2Tb Beast Lightgun Drive with over 400 light gun games on it. There are plenty of other options out there too if it is not exactly what you are looking for.
